It's All Theatre Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

There is NO doubt that the revolution will be televised or at least run it's course through social media.  We always thought it was a good idea to light the tires on fire and then quietly leave the scene.  Not these girls (#1).  First of all they used sparklers to get the tires going, then they had to pose for a selfie.  Even the government troops had cell phones!

Beautiful morning with hazy sun and distant clouds.  Not much wind and smooth seas.  The air temp was a chilly 47.9 and the water continues to hold at 62.4.  High tide was at 6:34am +5.8' and low tide will follow at 1:30pm +0.1'.  We have a WSW swell out of 255º at 3.6' and it was 3' to 5' at the Cove where we decided to venture en masse.  José showed the savages at Little Reef how to go left, while Jetski borrowed some of his beach-break moves to pinball through the north side.  Jah Morgan declared the proceedings "cute" and "adorable", while Doc Scale walked along the parked cars looking for Bandaids™ to staunch the crimson pouring from his wounded extremities.  He appeared to be a direct descendant of Danger Boy...  Meanwhile the Professor was dreaming about his new whip...

Sub-Commandante Pancho (#2) proved inspirational to the troops.  Unfortunately, upon his leaving things fell apart and dissolved into chaos.  Of course the government has taken back over and although there are some pockets of resistance, for the most part things have returned to "normal."  Never an easy process...

It appears that we entered upon Tarzan and his colleague at an inopportune time...  We are awaiting forensic tooth identification to positively identify his anorexic amigo...

Happy Hour at Patrick Malloy's this Friday at 5:30pm on the patio.  Dress warmly...
