Mimeographic Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Honestly, can't you smell the aroma of a freshly mimeographed sheet of paper?  And it wasn't merely ordinary paper.  It was thin and seemed like it had a bit of plastic in it.  The masters were typed and then strapped to the big printing wheel.  The early ones were hand cranked, but when they added an electric motor, you felt like Gutenberg...  But a little light headed...

Some little zippers this morning (#1) a few even zipping out of the office!  It was cloudless and +20 miles visibility.  Winds were light offshore 4 to 6kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air was a really chilly 43.3º and the water is not so hot at 59.0º.  High tide was at 10:32am +5.6' and low tide will be in the minuses at 5:03pm -0.5'.  It was a west swell out of 262º at 2.3', but it was at least twice that big in the surf line at 3' to 5'.

Hoping your team won the Super Galactic Commercial Taylor Swift Bowl!
