Rainy Days & Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

We were graced with the presence of none other than Steve "Big Daddy" Brodhead this morning.  Joining LoLa, Jetski, Tarsan, Clarke, Laurie, Capitan Donaldo and the Professor it was a lively discussion that encompassed everything from A.I. to the atmospheric river.

Speaking of the atmospheric river, it continues to rain, sometimes heavily throughout the morning.  Visibility at times is limited and expect some inoperative traffic lights, like on the corner of PCH and Torrance Blvd.  Winds are out of the ESE at 3 to 15kts, bending everything the wrong way.  Catalina has a great collection of palm fronds if your tiki hut is in need of a new roof.  The air temperature is 54.3º and the water is 59.7º.  High tide is at 4:54am +5.2' and low tide will be fighting the runoff at 12:50pm -0.5'.  Currently it's a WSW swell out of 244º at 8.5' and it's hitting most beaches at 8' to 10' and gray and cloudy

The beaches have lost another 12' of sand so we're hoping that when this all calms down were hoping this (#1) is what we get!

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it"
