Dog Days Of Summer Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Here we have three surf dogs (#1) celebrating the "Dog Days" of summer.  The Professor and Doc are looking cool enough, but Scout is still sporting her fur coat.  Maybe she'll get to take a swim before it gets too hot.  Nice smile though...

Some good waves this weekend although it looked small and weak.  Those fun days when the waves are big enough to ride and small enough not to worry about getting blasted.  A little too small this morning although the skies were clear and the sun was blazing away.  Winds were light out of the SW at 1 to 3kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air at checkout was 64.9º and the water is a delightful 66.7º.  Low tide was at 6:08am -1.1' and high tide will be at 12:56pm +3.7'.  It's a SSW swell out of 215º at 2.6' and it was about half of that at 1' to 2' and breaking in ankle deep water.  Maybe mañana...
