Tous les Matins du Monde Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Cloudy this morning with 7 miles visibility.  Winds were mercifully offshore by 3 to 4kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air temperature was 61.3º and by some marvelous coincidence the water was also 61.3º.  High tide is at 9:02am +3.8' and low tide will be at 1:50pm +1.7' setting up for a really high tide at 7:35pm a +6.4'.  We have a predominantly west swell out of 267º at 3.5' and it was a high tide floated 2' to 3' and getting pretty close to shore.

Okay!  For the next couple of weeks we'll be off trying to find the tidal bore of the Seine river, rumored to be close to Le Havre.  Who knows what mischief awaits, but we'll try to post updates when the schedule allows!  Let's hope the summer arrives soon and banishes the June gloom!
