Lost Boys & Co...

You know some people are hard at work, like Birdie here, glassing the Box Brother's Buck Model
He and Oscar we're coating about 8 blades a piece this morning, while Jose was in the foam cavern mowing a similar number.  Is it work or is it art?

Beautiful morning!  Ten miles visibility with a bit of haze on the deck.  Winds were offshore by 5.3kts and the sea surface was smoothly rolling.  The air temp is 59.1° and the water is 58.3°.  Taking a look at the buoy it's showing us a rapid increase in the water temp.  It went from 57.4° at 6:30am to 60.2° at 12:15pm.  It would be nice if the warm water really got serious and gave us a break.  High tide was at 10:04am +3.8' and low tide will follow at 2:59pm +1.7'.  Not too much tidal change.  The buoy is reading a 4.3' swell out of 270° and we're calling it 4' to 5'.  Some good waves out there!  Some big rips though, so watch yourself.

Our second picture shows Danger Boy chillaxin' after a strenuous workout at the Cove.  Only a dozen guys out and he was rippin'.  He did meet with some attitude in the water and immediately took the perps down a peg with his icy stare.  Stop looking at me!
