Lost Boys & Co...

All we can ever think of when we see this photo is:  "When are you gonna let Froggy Gremlin up for air?"  Boomfwappa rockin' the long hair on the occasion of his 1st birthday.  Pops took him to the barber immediately following this photo session, much to mom's dismay...

Overcast skies and 7 miles visibility on a rather dampish October morning.  Winds were calm and the sea surface was smooth with a bit of a bump/ripple.  The air temperature was 61.0˚ and the water was 66.4˚.  Just sayin' it would be a lot nicer if the sun was out.  Low tide early at 5:30am +2.7' and high tide will be at 11:46am +5.2'.  We have a SSW swell out of 193˚ at 1.8' and a north swell out of 310˚ at 6.7', but both are at too severe an angle to help us out.  The Santa Monica buoy reports a 2.6' swell and that's about it for a 1' to 3' patience trying morning.  It's supposed to get better...  More patience...

Tip #2
1.   Map Out Your Day. Maximize your potential by mapping out your schedule for the day, as well as your goals and to dos. The morning is a good time for this as it is often one of the only quiet times a person gets throughout the day. The early hours foster easier reflection that helps when prioritizing your activities. They also allow for uninterrupted problem solving when trying to fit everything into your timetable. While scheduling, don't forget about your mental health. Plan a 10 minute break after that stressful meeting for a quick walk around the block or a moment of meditation at your desk. Trying to eat healthy? Schedule a small window in the evening to pack a few nutritious snacks to bring to work the next day.
