Lost Boys & Co...

What the hell is going on here?  The official count on this surfboard was 66, for the Guinness world record.  It's trouble enough when you go out and it's crowded, but if you bring your crowd with you, you have no one to blame but yourselves.  Who's idea was this anyway?  And who made this board?  Too many questions...  We just hope it goes away...

Cloudy this morning and looked like rain for the first part of the day.  Visibility was barely 5 miles.  Winds were offshore though, by 5.4kts and the sea surface was glassy.  The secret this morning was to hit it early.  The air temperature was 65.0˚ and the water was 67.8˚.  Low tide was at 9:03am +0.8' and high tide will be at 3:57pm +5.2'.  We had a SW swell out of 217˚ at 3.6' and it was a strong 3' - 4'.  It got steeper as the tide dropped and as we mentioned, earlier with more water was the call...

"I'll have the Bacon-Avo, with extra bacon..."  "So will I..."  "Me too!"  So Oscar fixed some extra bacon...  Yowzum, some tasty bacon...

July 18th, 5pm, Pig Roast.  A fete in which the pig is celebrated.  Linguiça, pork loin and of course the roast piggy.  Master Pig Roaster In Residence:  Jimmy Barahona.  At LoLa and the Professors.  Bring instruments, your party piece and sunshine...
