Pinstock Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

These three hombres (The Professor, Tio Ted and Danger Boy) found themselves at 11,000 feet, galloping after LoLa ("Scout") and Danger Girl.  They are standing in front of a Bristlecone Pine, another one of the oldest things on earth.  They are shown here welcoming you to the adventure as they trekked the Owens Valley and points nearby...  For some perspective, some of the Bristlecones are around 4,500 years old...

Overcast this morning with about 7 miles visibility.  Winds were off by 4.2kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air temperature was 62.6˚ and the water is 66.0˚.  High tide was at 8:02am +3.6' and low tide will  be at 1:06pm +1.6'.  We have a SSW swell out of 202˚ at 2.6'.  This all translates into 2' to 3' surf and it was actually okay all the way into the afternoon...  Might be a bit better mañana...
