Welcome Wagon Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

There is no question that Billy Mac would have gone for this little cover-up, except for the fact that his hair is still almost dry and that would've ruined the look...  He made it around and kept heading for the rocks...  Nice little hand thing going on as well...

Yes, only a couple of days until summer officially starts!  But we had a nice clear morning with about 12 miles visibility and just a smidgen of haze.  Winds were SEbS at 2kts, but there was still a lot of residual bounce from that gale out at sea.  The air temperature was 62.8˚ and the water was 64.9˚.  High tide was at 7:06am +3.4' and it turned quick at 12:00pm +1.7'.  The buoy was reading a SSW swell out of 205˚ at 3.6' and that was about it with some bigger outsides.  You had to be patient, but you're nothin' if not patient...

Meanwhile the Professor stares intently at who-knows-what.  While Billy was working the hand-jive, here we see an excellent example of the toe-drag.  Helps to whip that sucker around and achieve optimal trim...
