The Way It was Wednesday Surf &Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

So the wind was howling out of the southeast this morning, holding up these little left peelers.  Wind speed was 7 to 10kts and the sea surface was a bit roughed up with the offshore.  Skies were cloudy almost looking like it could drip a bit and about 10 miles visibility.  The air and water were both 62.8˚.  High tide was at 8:21am +5.9' and low tide will follow at 2:54pm -0.9'.  We have a strong little SSW swell out of 209˚ at 3.0' and it's 3' to 4' and there are some good ones if you're patient.

Activity on the Hermosa Pier.  They've closed it for an indefinite period of time for some repairs.  This has forced the usual crew to walk on the sand to do their check..  Some grousing there...
