A Rather Ticklish Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

We're back in town after a day at the 'bu...  Jetski is shown here letting his desires take wing...  Hot and small the 'bu still held sway with some long lines and only a few folks in the water.  One wag was heard to comment that it was the most polite crowd he'd seen in ages...  We had to agree...

Another summer day, we have hazy sun with some high clouds and 15 miles visibility.  Winds were calm and the sea surface was smooth to glassy.  The air temperature was 62.3 and the water was 61.5.  High tide was at 8:42am +4.5' and low tide will be at 2:41pm +0.6'.  We have a SSW swell out of 199º at 3.0' and that was about it with a high tide bounce for your take-off assistance...

At the museum in Palenque they took great pains to make sure each piece was exhibited to it's best advantage.  As an example, this perfectly lighted sculpted head was remarkable in it's beauty and simplicity.

Some smaller clay figures that appear to be portraits of specific individuals...
