Lost In Space Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Still pumping a bit this morning, an indicator might be the fact that no one can get out yet in Hermosa(#1).  The avenues on the other hand were full of gladiators trying to get a few corners before the swell drops...

Clear skies and 10 miles visibility.  Winds were light offshore at 1kt and the sea surface was slightly rolled.  The air temperature was 51.5 and the water is 62.1.  High tide was at 5:44am +5.4' and low tide will be at 12:38pm +0.7'.  We have a west swell out of the west 267º at 9.2' and depending on your surf scouting abilities, it could be 4' to 10'...

Here we have 2 of Santa's elves on a breakfast break at Brother's Burritos.  Yes, it's Elf Danese (#2) and Elf Donna (#3) and they rode their bicycles all the way from their workshop at the North Pole to get burritos!  Not unlike Santa himself, the elves are able to commute long distances in very short periods of time.  And, just like that, they were gone...

Okay, here's your chance to give someone the moon for Christmas!  You too can become a lunar landowner (#4) by purchasing an acre of lunar landscape for the out-of-this-world price of $29.95 per acre.  Apparently, Lunar Land Co. is one of the first companies in the world to possess a legal trademark and copyright for the sale of extraterrestrial property within the boundaries of our solar system (once you're out of the solar system, as we all know, you're on your own.)  The only other time we've been approached with this kind of fabulous deal was when we bought 150 acres of prime real estate in Baja and it turned out to be under government sanction and they spared no time in taking it back.  But hey, it's the MOON!  Your nearest neighbor would be 237,138 miles away and we've been told that Earth-rise is spectacular from prime acreage...  They also have a bridge...

No happy hour this week as the amateurs take over our watering holes and try to forget their lives of quiet desperation...  We asked about Friday the 28th and apparently the jury is still deciding whether it's much too close to the 1st to allow the normal liver to recuperate...  Not that YOUR liver is normal.  You'll be the second to know...
