A Feckless Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

At low tide (#1) looking along the finger reef that runs from the beach out to Rat Point.  Especially checking out  that rock that resides just below the surface at medium tide, it's always interesting seeing what's down there...

Clear skies again today and 10 to 20 miles visibility.  Winds were calm and the sea surface was smooth.  The air temp was 48.8º and the water is 61.3º, making for a pretty chilly morning.  High tide was at 10:28am +5.5' and low tide was at 6:19pm -0.1'.  We have a west swell out of 267º at 3.0', but it was 3' to 8'.  There would be a lull with some smaller waves and then there would be a set of outsides that would re-arrange your okolé.  There were abundant opportunities to be in the wrong place or in the right place for a block long eight-footer...  As hard as we looked, we couldn't make it look better...

(#2.) Looks like a good day fishing...

When your inflatable swan has a hole in it, there's always the giraffe (#3.)  We should note that this guy didn't catch a Dorado or a girl...

Christmas is three weeks from today!  Time to start being good.  Also time, if you haven't already, to hang those Christmas lights on you house.  We'll be hangin the Christmas palm this week, so spirits are high!  Let's see if we can't come up with some suggestions for gifts this year!
