Little Tiny Drops Of Water Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Okay, everyone who's tired of this fog raise your hand...  wait we're still counting.  Then, all who like it, raise your other hand.  Hmmm, maybe our sample is too small...

So we sent the kids out into the fog (#1) with about a hundred yards visibility and a hundred percent humidity.  They were game, but we had to count them going in and coming out.  Winds were light offshore and we think the sea surface was smooth.  The air temperature was 52.5º and the water jumped to 62.1º, but at eight sharp the air temperature dropped by three degrees and chilled everyone to the bone.  High tide was at 6:24am +6.2' and low tide was at 1:11pm -0.1' dipping precipitously for all you clam diggers.  We have a west swell out of 262º at 2.6' and it was 2' to 3' with some bigger outsides.

As you well know we're merely guerilla photographers, not like Burnsy, Robin, Brendan, Kevin, Paul or the list goes on...  But we liked this image (#2) from the Professor with the pier going on into the fog...  Atmospheric perspective might be our metier...
