She Ran All The Way Home Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Burnsy ran all the way home, in the fog, to get her camera and catch this photogenic little lefthander (#1) from the pier.  We might have looked at it and thought, "Nice little left, but hard to see."  She spied something entirely different...

Cold out there, with not much heat coming through the thick and persistent overcast.  Visibility 2 miles.  Winds were light onshore by 1 to 2kts and the sea surface was smooth to glassy.  The air temp was 54.0º and the water is 61.3º and felt a lot warmer than the air.  High tide was at 6:65am +6.7' and low tide follows at 1:57pm -0.9'.  We have a WSW swell out of 245º and it was 3' and looking for some sand bars to break on and some holes to paddle out through.  Otherwise it was perfect wally Hermosa...  Try again mañana...

The robed and the disrobed this morning at the beach.  In #2 Gianni's cousin José Gucci Bacallao models the robe that he got when he visited the fam in Italy.  As usual, accompanied by a phalanx of adoring fans he mugged for the camera with Herr Millstein, Cookie, his attaché the Professor and for max star power Kirra Hollowlegg. (#3)  Next robe event?  Just be ready...

Are we out of turkey yet?  Just asking...

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it"
The Professor!!
