All Things Being Equinox Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Well, it's not exactly the equinox, that was yesterday, but it feels like the equinox.  Besides all of that, it blew like crazy yesterday and the wind swell this morning is pumping.  Here (#1) we have Perk, pulling into what he makes look like a perfectly good barrel, instead of an impersonation of Puerto Escondido.  Winds were out of the east at 3 to 5kts and the sea surface was a bit uneven.  The air temperature was 51.5º and the water dropped a couple to 57.6º.  Low tide was at 6:08am +0.0' and high tide was at 12:13pm +3.9'.  It's a west swell out of 269º at 5.2' and it was a dredging, hollow 5' to 7' and great for our shortboarders, but not longboard friendly...  Meanwhile, Christian on a mid-length (#2), was out there for a couple of sessions making it look easy.  Like he does...

Yes, they finally stopped kissing (#3) and they started cooking.  Paella to be exact and it was delicious!

So they have "shaved" Brussels Sprouts (and YES they are "BRUSSELS" with an "S").  But do they have "bearded" Brussels Sprouts?  Well, not at Trader Joe's they don't because we looked...
