When The Moon Hits Your Eye Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

A particularly brilliant setting moon this morning (#1) trying to avoid getting stuck on the pier...

Under cloudless skies we had 10 miles visibility and light offshore winds.  The sea surface was slightly bumped.  The air temp was 51.0º and the water is 58.3º.  High tide was at 9:58am +5.4' and low tide follows at 4:18pm -0.2'.  We have a west swell out of 264º at 3.9' and it was a fun 3' to 5' with the shorebreak keeping everyone honest...  Photo #2 features alumnus Kade Kaufmann showing the current crop of Seahawks how to successfully manage the slow rollers.  Amazing how much the seniors progress in size, maturity and ability after they graduate...

It wasn't legal until the kiss (#3)...
