So often paddle-outs are associated with our departed colleagues, but this one (#1) was to celebrate the union of Christian and Morgan.  Now there would have been more surfers, except this was the third session for most of the crew and these were the ones who still had a bit of arm strength or could suffer more...

Foggy this morning with visibility varying from moment to moment.  Winds were offshore 2 to 3kts and the sea surface had a pronounced roll to it.  The air temperature was 54.5º and the water is 59.9º.  High tide was at 8:46am +5.5' and low tide will be at 3:30pm -0.6'.  We have a west swell out of 262º at 5.2' and it was 4' to 6' and rolling and a bit wonky...

When we first headed down to Zihuat/Saladitas in the late 90's this (#2) was a common sight.  In fact some may recall that TJ managed to get our ride dinged by a pissed-off bull who he was trying to nudge off the road.  Christian was a bit more cautious...  No dings...

The breakfast crew at Lourdes (#3).  This year the service was slower than it had been in the past.  Who knows why, but you might have to wait an hour or two to get your brekky.  We got marginally smarter by ordering and then walking home, changing and walking back...  From L. to R. Sancho, Tarsan, Doc?, Reetz, Ronnie, Buck, LoLa and at his own private table (invitation only) Jetski...

Sunset brought out the ukuleles with Joey and Suzi (#4) serenading the dinner crowd.  We had some great dinners at Ilianet's down the beach from the point on the other side of old Jacqueline's...
