The Family That Surfs Together Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Imagine how good you'd be if your parents had taken you out when you were this young (#1)!  You'd be a contender!  Yep, it's Jesse, Nick and Daisy.  The family that surfs together...  Burfs together?  Gurfs together?  Turfs together?  ???

Interesting interplay of atmospheric elements this morning.  Started out clear and damp, then got hazy, then full on fog and then hazy sun for the remainder of the morning.  Winds were light offshore 1 to 3kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air was 48.0º and the water is 58.8º.  Low tide was at 6:55am +1.8' and high tide will be at 12:34pm +4.3'.  We have a WSW swell out of 244º at 2.6' and it was 2' to 3' and really fun.  The lefts were the way to go, but don'tcha know an odd right came through occasionally.

Class as usual tomorrow, out at 8:15am and then out for the rest of the finals week.  We're hearing rumblings about the start of the competition season, so we'll try and give you heads up for the days of the comps!
