A Change In The Weather Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

The high tide coupled with the swell set up some nice peaks (#1) if you were in the mood to challenge the runoff and the wind, which came up fairly early.  The NDBC 46221 buoy is on the fritz (as well as parts of the system), so we're taking a flyer on some of the data, but we do know that it was 48.4º in the air this morning and the water is 57.0º.  High tide was at 7:04am +5.7' and low tide will be at 2:00pm -1.0'.  It's predominantly a west swell in the 5' to7'+ range and Dave Carter (#4) got some nice ones before reporting for duty...

#2)  Here we have LoLa and Capitán Donaldo Congrejo discussing travel plans for the upcoming season.  It seems that many places (that have surf) are opening up as the citizenry gets vaccinated...

#3)  On the banks of Lago Hermosa, as Weegs decides whether to open up the berm and let the questionable water flow or cover the entire mess and pretend it never happened...
