How Many Sociopaths Do You Know Friday Surf & Culture Report?

Lost Boys & Co...

We guess the entire subject line was a question.  But it is Friday and it is a Surf & Culture Report, so we'll head out from there...

So in photo the first, we have a good view of the playing field.  Large by Hermosa standards and high tide 8:12am +5.6'.  Also crowded for a Friday.  Winds were offshore at game time by 6kts and the sea surface was rolling and a bit mushed out.  The north side (#2) also seemed to have some good peaks, but everyone seemed to be entranced by the south side.  The water is still chilly at 54.0º at the buoy and 47.9º in the air.  We have a SSW swell out of 200º at 4.3' and it was easy 4' to head high and maybe a bit more on the second reef Hermosa.

#3) Shows Scott and Scotty splitting a really fat peak that took out most of the pack except for the eagle-eyed three guys on the outside.  It was like that all morning and by the time the tide had dropped enough to make it better, the wind came up.  You can tell Scotty is game after he came in after a three wave drubbing and we asked him, "How was it?"  "It was fun!"  He said...

Then we have early bird Aaron Millstein, who typically gives up his parking spot to one of us second-shifters.  Always fun to surf with, we're trying to add him to the familia to have an earlier check...
