A Trademark Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

#1)  It's Only March, but we already have an invention of the year!  Not quite sure why this is it, but it says so right there...  If they need a slogan, we're thinking something along the lines of "You need to sit on a Zinger™"

Clear, cold skies this morning and 15 miles visibility.  The air was 43.0º and the water is 56.8º.  High tide was at 11:06am +4.6' and low tide will be at 5:10pm -0.4'.  We had a SW swell out of 230º at 2.0' and it was 2' to 3' and a little more lined up than yesterday, but still fun...  Supposed to rain mañana and through most of the day.  We'll give it a look at the usual time and see if we can squeeze in a few before it gets too wet...

#2)  This is the Professor with his thumb on the Scale...  Get it?  Thumb on (the) Scale...  Ed Scale.  The Professor has his thumb on him...

Yes, and if you think you're going to roll over the double-double line on PCH getting ready to make a left onto 190th, think again.  Good Officer Turner ("Left Hand Turner") pulled the Professor over for sliding along the waiting traffic so he could get into the left hand lane and not block the cars coming in from Catalina.  The good news?  He only got a warning (#3)!  The bad news?  Everyone driving back from the early session at the beach had to honk and wave.  Officer Turner asked where we were going and we told him "surfing."  Are those all your friends?  "Not any more we answered..."

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it"
The Professor!!
