Wish I Was A Welder Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Can you believe this weather?  It's been nicer than most summer days.  That's why we've been counting all these sunny days as "summer" and all the rainy cold days as "winter."  Getting ready for a run down to Mexico, we're working on tanning our feets.  Should we run into Sub-Commandante Marcos, we are planning to do a full interview!

Twenty three miles visibility this morning, under a hazy, but confident sun.  Winds are offshore by 1.9kts and the sea surface is glassy.  The air temperature at checkout was 55.2° and the water is a remarkable 59.4°.  High tide is at 10:30am +4.2' and low tide will be at 4:39pm +0.7'.  Our favorite buoy (#46221) is telling us that we have a WSW swell out of 256° at 3.3'.  We're calling it 3' to 4' and poor to fair.  Hermosa was a bit bigger, but wallier and crashier as well.  Knob Hill provided some nice lefts and was just about the best place for the rising tide.  Stay tuned, it's supposed to be getting better!

Reminder:  Boomfwappa, will be appearing at Keegan's Pub in Old Torrance on Friday night.  Then he will be disappearing.  How does he do that???
