Who'd A Thunk It Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Kinda hate it when people say, "Who'd a thunk it!"  Don't even know what kinda dialect that's from.  Sounds pretty dumb...  No, that's how we really feel...

Beautiful morning here in the So. Bay.  Unlimited visibility and cloudless azure skies (there's a bit of a smog front off shore, maybe 15 miles out, but hey, it's there and we're here...)  Actually, it's out there because the wind is offshore by 3.7kts and the sea surface is smooth, with a slight roll.  The air temp is 53.3° and the water is stuck at 58.3° or in that general vicinity.  High tide is full at 9:41am +5.7' and low tide will follow at 4:13pm -0.5'.  We have a full swell pumping out of the west 262° at 5.2' and we're calling it 4' to 6' depending where you plan on engaging the surf.  If you're Paul Miloe, you charge Indicator at 6am with three guys in the water and waves 2 to 4 feet overhead.  We didn't count that in our report, but you know it's there...

You know how you're rolling along and you get around Ave. I and you see this huge line waaay out there and you just have to stop and watch.  Wonder if you could tow into it?  This one sizzled for a long time...
"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it..."
