A Thirty-Second Note Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

LoLa and José got into the carnival atmosphere with these street performers.  They were amazingly agile on those stilts.  At least we think they were stilts...

Things have straightened out a bit this morning with partly cloudy skies and 15 miles visibility.  Winds were variable out of the SE from 3 to 5kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air temp was 55.5˚ and the water was 57.0˚.  High tide was at 5:20am +3.6' and low tide will follow at 11:52am +0.9'.  We have that peaky west wind swell out of 261˚ at 3.6'.  We're going to call it 4' and fun to funner...

When it's time to leave Cuba you have to do it in style.  We chose this sexy yellow number outside the "Floridita."  You put surfboards in the back of one of these babies and crank up the Beach Boys and it's like a choir of angels rolling down the Calle de Infanta...

Meanwhile back in El Salvador...
"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it..."
