Meridian Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Okay, we have the Professor on assignment in Boise, Idaho.  In a few days he'll be heading down the Pacific Coast giving us reports from Portland south.  Of course today he's working on plumbing at the Burke's house...  Can't keep him away from the water!

We checked in with the Coach this morning and he tells us that although it wasn't classic there were some good long-boarding waves at Torrance Beach.  Visibility was 10 miles under overcast skies.  Winds turned early and went from calm to a light tack at 1.3kts.  The air temperature was 60.4°  and the water is 65.3°.  High tide was at 8:53am +3.8' and low tide will be at 1:26pm +2.2'.  The buoy is reading a 3.3' swell out of 266° west.  We're calling it 2' to 3' and poor to fair.

More to come from the road...

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it..."
 The Professor!!
