Well-To-Do Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Our photo today features our surfing student and computer tech-wiz Lawrie "the Shark" Morey.  Her enthusiasm in attacking the waves earned her this nick this morning.  She also didn't do too poorly at attacking her breakfast as well!  She allowed that she had a good time disporting herself among the combers and that's exactly what it's about!  Not only is she a tech-expert, but she's an excellent writer as well and has done some classic travelogues.  Her work appears regularly in "Yelp."

A beautiful morning today!  20 miles visibility under cloudless skies.  Winds are offshore by 3.6kts and the sea surface is smooth with a slight bump.  The air temperature is 67.3° and the water is a pleasant 68.0°.  High tide is at 10:29am +4.2' and low tide is at 3:25pm +2.1'.  The 46221 Buoy is reading a 3.0' swell out of the SW (221°.)  We're calling it 2' to 3' with some nice rolling waves all along the avenues..

A great day for the beach, especially if you want to take a dip and maybe get a few body surfing waves in after work or before or after dinner!

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it..."
