Wettish Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

You know how you're waiting for the doctor to come in and excise your tonsils, or cut off those unsightly skin tags around your eyes or remove that 6th toe on your left foot.  You notice some of the warnings on the various equipment (photo #1) that they've got warming up for your especial procedure.  This one makes you begin to wonder about the chemical nature of the anesthetic you'll be using.  Your first question to the nurse:  "Is the anesthetic flammable?"  Her answer:  "You are the first person to ever ask me that question."

So, it's raining out there this morning and we have barely 2 miles visibility.  The clouds are right on the deck and the winds are out of the SE by 3.8kts and the sea surface is smooth.  The air temperature is 64.8° and the water is 65.7°.  High tide is at 7:27am +5.2' and low tide will be at 1:19pm +1.3'.  The buoy is reading a west swell out of 261° at 4.9'.  The surf is a strong 3' to 5' with some thicker, larger outsides and some great peaks along the avenues.

Frank, YUCK, Fred had one of those on his legs. I think maybe you ate too many sausages. Easy going buddy!
(In that case it would'a been a "Linguiçaoma" and we would have kept it and fried it.  Ed.)
