Mr. Monkey got himself high into the Christmas tree and then posed for this picture.  At least this beats the time he threw figs at us for a half an hour before we could get him down!

Another beautiful southland day, with winds out of the east by 1.9kts and glassy conditions.  Visibility is 25 miles and you can see the mountains behind the Santa Monicas.  The air temp at checkout was 60.1° and the water was 60.8°.  High tide was at 9:19am +5.9' and low tide is at 4:45pm -0.5'.  The buoy is reading a west swell out of 272° and the waves are in the 3' to 5' range with some bigger sets at odd intervals.  Most places were walled up and crashing, but later it might start working at Rat or some of the rocky places.  The Cove was packed, but had some pretty waves...
