Lost Boys & Co...

A little known fact:  Boomfwappa is the "1st Dude of Terceira" one must beat the drum in his presence.
(A note of caution:  One should only beat the drum.  There is not an acceptable substitute.  Thank you...  The Duke and the Dude...  Ed.)

Gorgeous day out there this morning.  15 miles visibility, under clear skies and warm sand.  Winds were calm at checkout and the sea surface was only slightly bumped from the wind swell.  The air temp was a cool 52.4° and the water is still refusing to get warm at 56.7°.  High tide was at 7:49am +4.9' and low tide will follow at 1:56pm -0.0'.  The ever popular 46221 Buoy is reading a west swell out of 261° at 3.6'.  We're calling it 3' to 4' with a rather persistent rip off the jetty at Sapphire, sending you floating toward 615 and the end of the line.  Haggs local and Big Bob Boy, Robert Stassi made it down to Sapphire this morning and joined us for a few peelers.  We really liked that Corky Carroll he was riding.  Also representing were Sandy, Mark, Johnny Siskowik and the Date Bros., Cliff and Keenan.  That reminds us, we have to order some Medjools...

Buck and the Professor talk board design.  Looks like Buck is opting for retirement at the end of this school year!  Maybe we'll soon see more of him in the lineup?
