Fuckin' A! So yesterday Fred Tisue is rolling with Mark O'Mailman Mitchler and suddenly he's not making any sense and one of his arms isn't obeying basic commands. Next thing you know he's in Torrance Memorial next to Miloe (because Miloe has his own suite on the top floor and gets all of the good eats) and they're scanning his CAT to see what's going on with his wiring. Among the good news: They're letting Freddy out of the hospital this afternoon if he behaves. They determined that the fluid in Miloe's cardiac sac is draining and they decided NOT to open him up and pump it out. Danger Boy is not in the hospital (He was also not in the lineup, so we don't know where he is.)
Meanwhile, spring continues to sprong and it was another beautiful day here in lotus land. 20 miles visibility, under mostly sunny skies. Offshore winds in the am at 5.7kts and the sea surface was smooth and wet to the touch. The air temp was 51.5° and the water was 56.3°. This didn't stop Vinny from wearing his springer. He says it's 60. He's tougher than we are. High tide rose to it's full height at 6:53am +4.8' and low tide will follow at 1:19pm -0.1'. The buoy says it's a west swell from 255° at 4.3'. It looked to be about 4' to 5' on the outside with some fat ones at higher tide and some dredging peaks as the tide got lower. Fun, but not as peaked as Tuesday.
Attached we have the crest of the Azore Islands. The Professor is now working on the notion that he is somehow the 5th Duke of Terceira. This is going to come as a real shock to the 4th Duke who happens to currently be living in a very cool palace in Lisbon.
