Lost Boys & Co...

Nick Corsinita, at 102 big ones,
the Lost Boys oldest member, missed a turn and ran his Ferrari into the hereafter - figuratively speaking.  He lived a long life full of work, laughter and travel.  He worked for the Feds and let contracts on some of the biggest military-industrial contracts of the 20th century.  He could tell you how much it cost for us to rent Bikini Atoll before we rendered it uninhabitable, where all the money went when Cuba turned communist and why Lyndon Johnson was behind Kennedy's assassination.  One Thanksgiving the power went out and he spent a couple of hours entrancing the kids and grown-ups alike with stories of days gone by, until dinner was ready and the power magically went back on.  Bad news:  The Ferrari was totaled.  Good news:  The blond was fine.

A blustery spring day we're having here.  Visibility 12 miles, under mostly cloudy skies.  Winds were onshore from the NW from the get-go at 6.9kts and the sea surface was jumping chop just below the white cap mark.  The air temperature was 55.1° and the water was 56.3°.  This wind is almost sure to dredge up another layer of cold from below the surface - so don't expect the water to warm up soon.  High tide at 5:50am +4.6' and low tide will be at 12:39pm +0.0'.  The buoy is still reading a strong swell out of the west at 260° at 4.6'.  That's good.  The waves are 4' to 5'.  That's good.  But the wind is blowing them all over the place and making it rough.  That's bad.  Rearrange the sock drawer, do your taxes and read the paper.  Tomorrow...
