Lost Boys & Co...

"Feets don't fail me now..."  When the bad guys are bigger, uglier and not as fast, running is always a good choice (fig.1  feets considering the running option.) If they're really bad, super ugly, fast enough, but not super nimble we suggest scaling a wall.  Gotta make it a high wall though... (fig. 2  this was almost too high for the scaling option.)

Looks like the gray is starting early this year.  Overcast skies with a bit of the drizzles early on and 15 miles visibility.  Winds were onshore from the get-go by 4.6kts and the sea surface had the expected light chop to go with it.  The air temperature was 59.3° and the water is 57.4°.  Low tide was at 5:50am -1.2' and high tide will be at 12:15pm +3.8'.  We have a SW swell out of 217° at 3.3', but it's passing us by obliquely and we're only showing 2' of it.

Sorry about the lack of reportage yesterday.  It took us a bit longer to say goodbye to Nick Corsinita than we anticipated.  Nick was 102!  Try and condense that into a 5 minute eulogy!  One of the photos they included was Nick and Agnes at the beach, lookin' like the Lost Boy he was...  Viva Nick!
