Mannequin Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Mannequins.  They just kinda freak us out.  Like if we were in a room full of mannequins and it got dark, that would be uncomfortable.  The only thing that might be worse is mannequins dressed like clowns.  We'd be outta there!

Overcast this morning with 10 miles visibility.  Winds were about 5kts offshore at checkout and turned pretty early until by 10am it was onshore and the sea surface had a light chop.  The air temperature was 61.2° and the water was 58.6°.  High tide was at 10:24am +4.6' and low tide will be at 3:48pm +0.8'.  The buoy was reading a SW swell out of 231° at 3.6'.  We're calling it 3' to 5' with some long rights and short lefts at Topaz and short rights and long lefts at Sapphire.  A real gray spring day...

So, what's the best?  A Dodger game (they won 2 to 1 over the Cardinals) or a chocolate fountain?  We crashed Gourmet Foods every-other-year open house and got food-drunk.  Marco is seen in photo #2 wondering what happened to the marshmallow that had been recently perched on the end of his fork and pondering his next assault on the geyser d' cocoa.  It was a food orgy with no comparison...
