Mercenary Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Sunday morning we're checking out the surf and we notice these roses strewn on the other side of the new retaining wall.  Maybe "strewn" is the wrong word.  They didn't look like they were thrown or tossed.  There weren't a dozen.  It didn't appear that they were forgotten.  Looked like they had been there for hours and not days.  Wait...  Do you think this might have something to do with Bruce and Emily?

The day started with a bit of overcast and then broke into a beautifully sunny day.  15 miles visibility and a bit of the marine haze.  Winds were offshore until 10:30am, 2.6kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air temperature was 63.2° and the water was 65.8°.  High tide was at 7:16am +3.4' and low tide was close at 11:21am +2.6'.  Not too much difference.  The buoy was reading a 3.3' swell out of SSW 203°.  It was 1' to 2' with some fatter outsides and fun if you had the inclination...  ✠
