Three Point Landing Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

As the sun sets on the Southshore, the pink in the Royal Hawaiian seems to get a bit more intense.  Must've been even better when there wasn't anything behind it and you could see all the way to Barber's Point.  Then right out front was this little right/left where we spent 3 out of the 4 mornings.  This guy was getting a few late on the day before the swell came in.  Very casual...

A sunny Southern California morning with just a bit of haze and 15 miles visibility.  Winds were calm at checkout and the sea surface was smooth, with just a hint of ripple.  The air temp was 60.3° and the water at the buoy was 60.8°, more like 65/66 in the lineup.  Low tide was at 6:53am +0.8' and high tide will follow at 1:32pm +5.5'.  We have a SW swell out of 229° at 3.3' and we'll call it just that, with some nice little fat ones and a bit of push with the rising tide.  If it's like yesterday, think about an afternoon session, could be fun even with a little chop...
