Lost Boys & Co...

Photo bombing.  The dog shows how it's done.

Another beautiful day in So. Cal with some surf if you know where to look!  17 miles visibility and the air at checkout was 56.3°.  The sea temp. remains at 58.6°, but seems a bit chillier.  Winds were offshore by 3.4kts and the sea surface was smooth.  High tide at 6:24am 5.3' and low tide will follow at 1:51pm -0.1'.  Setting up for another week of pm lows in which to do a bit of beach combing.  We have a west swell from 264° at 3.3', but we have Barahona Special Report that says that 26th St. is head high, but so soft, that there's no problem on the paddle out!  The Cove is worth taking a look.  It's been happening for the last couple of weeks, albeit at odd times.  Also, a Sandy-gram tells us that the tide could influence the entire playing field.  As always, take a look!

Boomfwappa relates...
I pointed to two old drunks sitting across the bar from us
and told my friend
"That's us in 10 years".
He said "That's a mirror, asshole!!

Dear Prof,
Has the climate there chilled your brain, or has retirement taken its toll?  The sign clearly states "Boys" sled, presumably there's some anatomical reason, but in any case, it may be deemed unsuitable for a young lady.  Or are you trying to make waves?
Paver
(Despite the brain chilling, after examining said sled, we determined there was no reason why an young lady couldn't utilize it's rocket qualities to it's advertised potential.  Fie, on those sexist rascals who've decided that rockets sleds are just for boys...  We shall wave at them as we zoom past...  Ed.)
"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it..."
 The Professor!!
