Tailfin Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

During the last rain, there was a break in the clouds long enough for the sun to come through.  Okay...  rain...  sun...  RAINBOWS!  One really nice one and a second trying to show through.

Dazzlingly beautiful this morning with unlimited visibility and nary a cloud in the sky.  The hawk was off by 6.6kts and the sea surface was lightly burnished by the wind, but smooth.  The sun felt good even though the air was a brisk 52.0˚ and the water was 57.7˚.  High tide was at 5:46am +6.3' and low tide will be at 1:05pm -0.8'.  We have a west swell out of 272˚at 5.2' and the surf was 3' to 5' and cleaning up from the big winds of Monday.  You might expect it to be a bit cleaner, if not a tad smaller mañana.  Will certainly be worthy of a look...

We heard last night, that Louie Louey's/Halibut Corner has been sold!  Anthony will be heading back to Viet Nam to get married and see what he can start up back home.  We're gonna miss him and his bon homme, not to mention the tacos, tuna stacks and pho!  There is a good-bye party in the works and we'll let you know when that's going to happen.  We met the new owner and she says she'll keep the same menu, but we'll see how that works out...
