Worm Hole Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Let's open with a shot of Todd Tisue on a Maverick's fatty.  Look at the size of that lip about to pitch...  It doesn't look all that big until you start looking at the whole thing.  When it gets big Todd does the tow-in thing.  We've seen photos of him on some huge Maverick's mountains...  Obviously, the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree...

Lots of visibility this morning, in the 20+mile range with a bit of smoggies on the deck.  Winds were offshore by 2.9kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air was just a tad warmer at 46.2˚ and the water was 54.9˚.  It's supposed to get into the 70's for the end of the week ands no foul weather in sight.  Low tide is at 6:26am +1.7' and high tide will be at 12:08pm +4.2'.  The buoy has a weak SW swell out of 217˚ at 1.6' and we're thinking it's not quite that big.  On an entirely different planet they're considering running the "Eddie" this week.  Maybe we'll get a bit of that swell...

Another fatty, but this time from Brother's.  Juan's special sandwich/torta...  Tell him you want one like the Professor.  He'll do you right...  Delicioso!
