Motor Scooter Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Kobe Bryant's family and friends...  A tragic loss to the world of sports and entertainment...

Even when it's small it looks like it's got some punch!  Nazaré (#1), with Hugo looking at it because it's too small to ride...  For him...

Heavy haze this morning with 3 miles visibility.  Winds were offshore by 2.9kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air was 48.7 and the water is 60.6.  High tide was at 10:05am +5.4' and low tide will be at 5:07pm -0.3'.  We have a west swell out of 260º at 4.3' and it was 3' to 5' with some fat ones on the odd set...

Up in Sequim, Washington on the edge of the "Blue Hole", Buck Delameter snapped this photo (#2) of the pond behind his house.  On the other side of the trees the hunters were shooting ducks.  Let's hope the ducks won...

Well, look (#3) who showed up to check out the surf!  We're glad to report Ed "Doc" Scale is back and to prove it, here's his back.  He's ambulatory, with nary a limp, but the "other" doctor has asked him to keep it dry for another couple of weeks.  We'll see about that...

Finally, we got a look at the latest velocipede (#4) out of Michael and the Professor's "Ohm-ish Lab."  It's called the "Malecón Especial" and it's inspired by the taxis in Havana, Cuba...  It'll be a Trader Joe's runner...

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it"
The Professor!!
