Tinplate Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

(Note:  Once again we're at war.  How many Iranians do you know?  Seems like we used to work with a shit load of them and they all seemed to be pretty cool.  My hygienist is Iranian!  Is my oral hygiene in jeopardy?  I'm flossing like a mo-fo...)

A clear beautiful morning with over 10 miles visibility and a few high clouds.  Winds were offshore by 7.2kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air temperature was 52.2 and the water is 60.3.  High tide was at 6:16am +5.7' and low tide was at 1:39pm -0.3'.  We have a west swell out of 267º at 2.3' and it was better the closer you hit it to high tide.  About 3' to 4' and some fast wally waves...  Tarsan was in fine form and got the dump for his rail-grabbing virtuosity...

Roessler plunge (#1) always seemed to be such an anachronism, both because it seemed to be from another era and here was this crystal blue plunge next to the gray-blue Pacific...  Come on in, the water's fine...

Hermosa looking straight west with a bit of a pier nug flipping through (#2).  It's been better with the higher tides, so the rest of the week might hold some promise...
