Famously Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Surprise, surprise!  Mr. Christian popped the question (#1) to Jah Morgan and she said, YES!  They should be back in town for a go-out on Tuesday morning, when we will ply them for all of the details!

Cloudy and gray this morning with 7 miles visibility.  Winds were out of the west by 5.0kts and the sea surface was a bit bumped.  The air temp was 52.2 and the water is 59.9.  High tide was at 6:16am +5.7' and low tide follows at 1:27pm -1.0'.  We have a west swell out of 266º at 2.6' and it was 2' to 3' with some soft mushburgers close to shore...

"We will build a wall and it will be made out of stone!"  #2 demonstrates what a real wall might look like at it's foundation.  Tarsan stands next to this model to give you some idea of how effective this gambit may prove...

#3 An example of atmospheric perspective.  Things closer to you are darker than those farther away.

LoLa and Capitán Don Congrejo outside of the Leko-Souther suite (#4) on the banks of the Rio de Laguna Chacahua.  We stayed here for a couple of nights and then moved to the Isahmar, farther up the river, for the next five.  Despite being so close to the water, there didn't seem to be too many bugs.  Unless, of course, you count all of Tarsan's bites and LoLa's scorpion...
