Drifters Escape Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

A few days ago the waves were small and playful and gave the crew a good chance to show off their foot work.  You got a chance to catch Milly on that little right yesterday and here's Brendan Simmons (#1) showing it off going left.  Gotta be impressed with the subtlety of his approach.  A well planted forward step, stable and up to almost up to the front third of the board.  Cross stepping in the classic manner, unhurried and smooth.  And catch that little gesture with the right hand that makes it look classic and polished!   Again thanks to our photographer Sabrina Coco!

Marginally bigger today than yesterday, but foggier and a bit of chill.  Visibility was 2 miles and wind were out of the SW by 0 to 3kts.  The sea surface was smooth.  The air was around 65.0º and the water is 67.1º.  Low tide was at 6:43am -0.3' and high tide will be at 1:21pm +3.9'.  Swell is getting annoyingly south at 196º at .09', but still threw us a couple of feet of waves for our amusement.  Doc and the Professor managed to get a couple of laughs at the expense of the corbina and stingrays!
