First Day Of The Second Half Of The Year Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

So, we've knocked down the first half and let's get ready to push through #2.  We purposely didn't mention that Christmas was six months away on the 25th last month.  It just seemed too mean.  Like telling high schoolers that they have to be back in class the third week in August.  Come on, let's try to stay in the present!

Hazy sun this morning breaking into a beautiful sunny day.  10 miles visibility and winds out of the SE by 2 to 3kts.  The air temperature3 was 64.5º and the water is 66.5º.  High tide was at 7:12am +3.2' and low tide was at 11:46am +1.9'.  It's a west swell out of 262º at 3.0' and it was about that on the southside of the pier...

A little summer get-together hosted by the lovely Anupa (#1).  There was wine, Creme-sicle-de-menthe and Aperole.  This is what happens when everyone brings appetizers...
