It’s A Scarlett Shmarlett Thursday Surf & Culture Report
Lost Boys & Co...
You know how when you jump out of the boat and it suddenly lurches to the other side. Exhibit A (#1) demonstrates this basic action as LoLa & Scarlett exit the boat post haste. You might wonder about some of the conditions on and about the lake. The daily temps have been hanging around the mid-eighties and the water is just about 70. A little smoky with some of the fires in Oregon wafting across the border. All-in-all not bad…
Meanwhile in Hermosa (the beautiful) Beach our correspondent Doc Scale tells us that it's a bit foggy and damp chill. Winds are out of the SW by 3kts and there's a bit of texture on the surface. Low tide was at 7:01am 0.0' and high tide follows at 1:31pm +4.7'. It's a chilly 64.8 in the surf. We have a 3.0' SSW swell (203 deg true) and it's looking like 2'and some real skeg draggers. Speaking of skeg draggers, Doc appears to be doing fine since he catamaraned a landing the other day. He managed to avoid any serious damage, but those fins (skegs) are a caution!
Working to the end of the week. Let us know what you've got going. Any interesting trips going on? Send some photos so we can follow the familia's adventures!
