Right In The Wrong Direction Friday Surf & Culture Report
Lost Boys & Co...
Always feels a little disingenuous to be writing the surf report from 300 miles or so from the nearest surf. But if we're going to let that stop us then we might as well not report on Hawaii, El Salvador or the East Coast. Also if United Airlines doesn't get it together after their stupendous hack, we may have to Uber back!
Looking a bit hazy this morning with 5 miles visibility. Winds are out of the south by 2 to 3kts and the sea surface is lightly textured. Some radical tides but not during the day. It's high tide at 10am 3.4' and low tide follows at 1:54pm 2.5'. The water temp is 66.9 and has been dropping slightly throughout the morning. We have a SSW swell out of 209 at 3.9' and it's a pretty solid 3' if you don't mind it a bit cool.
"Chiropractor to the Stars" Ed Scale was demonstrating these leg stretches (#1) but for all the world it looked like Rita had relegated him to the corner for a timeout. What did he do this time!
