There’s No Fog Upon The Lake Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Heading up to Lake Payette today for some floating time in McCall, Idaho.  Personally, our fave is pushing 8-year old Scarlett into the boat wakes on her foamy surfboard as they break on the sandy shore.  Naturally, our ulterior motive is to get her down to Hermosa and experience some real ocean waves.  Of course, this year the surf would be perfect for her to learn!

Meanwhile, there's 10 miles visibility under partly cloudy skies.  Winds are out of the SW by 3rds and the sea surface is lightly textured. Ocean temperature is 68.4 at the buoy.  It's a 3.2' high tide at 8:51am and low tide will be at 12:11pm 2.8'.  We're looking at a 3.9' swell out of the SSW (206) and it's 2' to 3'.

If you want to eat like your favorite shaper, you should try this build-your-own burrito (#1) designed by Jose Barahona.  If you want to really kick it into high gear, add jalapeños!  Aye yi yi!
