In The Middle Of The Lake Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Water, water everywhere and floating is an option.  Yes, here (#1) we are in the middle of Lake Payette enjoying a morning dip before breakfast or lunch or whatever that meal is we're currently going to celebrate.  Water is 69, air is 82 and the winds are calm.

Meanwhile in Hermosa this morning it was a tad foggy and in spots less than 2 miles visibility.  Winds were calm to 4kts out of the SW, while the sea surface is lightly textured.  The water temp keeps fluctuating in a bad way and it got down to 64.8 at the buoy this morning.  Low tide was at 5:45am this morning a -1.0' and high tide will be at 12:12pm +4.3' and filling in all of the interstices very nicely. It's a SSW swell out of 196 degrees at 3.0'and it was 2' to 3' with some interesting sets if you were pure of heart…

And don't ask us if you're pure of heart.  That's between you and the cosmos.  You look good to us, but we are famous for making erroneous assumptions and even worse choices.  Summer is moving along at an appropriate pace, but it can slow down any time it wants.  Surf should be a little bigger mañana, so bring out something fun and capable of whipping some turns.  Doc, think about the fish!
