Nothing Rhymes With Wednesday Wednesday Surf & Culture Report
Lost Boys & Co...
We've been in close communications with our colleagues on the pier in Hermosa this morning as the fog wafts in and the humidity passes 100%. Our photo this morning is courtesy of Baron von Aaron Millstein and his roving surf cam. He overcame the struggle to keep his lens dry and deliver this image (#1) to the group.
So you can see the visibility is in the hundreds-of-yards range and the overcast has now fallen to ground level. Winds remain light onshore and there is a bit of texture when you can see the surf. Low tide is at 6:22am -0.6' and high tide will be at 12:49pm +4.8'. We have a SSW swell out of 207 degrees at 2.6' and it might be 2'. The bad news is that we've had some significant upwelling and the water temperature at the buoy has fallen to an April level of 63.5 degrees. It's either got to get really sunny or the water better climb out of this hole and get up to more comfortable levels…
